AIKO Neostar 485 Wp N-Type Glass-Glass Full Black Solar Panel AIKO-A485-MCE54Db - Full Pallet (37 pieces)
The AIKO Neostar Pro 3S+54 is the ideal solar module for those who want to combine maximum efficiency with an aesthetic appearance. Thanks to All-Back-Contact (ABC) technology, all electrical contacts are located on the rear side of the cells. This creates a uniform, grid-less, black surface in a sleek Full Black design. Beyond its looks, the Neostar Pro stands out for its optimized power generation, even under partial shading conditions. Its robust glass-glass design ensures an exceptionally long service life, even in demanding locations prone to snow, wind, or hail.
What is the AIKO ABC Technology?
ABC stands for "All Back Contact" – all electrical contacts are located on the rear of the solar cell. This offers two key advantages: firstly, there is no shading from busbars on the front surface, which maximises light absorption. Secondly, it enables the fully black appearance with no visible cell contacts. Combined with N-type cell technology, the AIKO panel achieves a module efficiency of up to 24%. N-type cells are also inherently less susceptible to light-induced degradation (LID), ensuring stable long-term performance. AIKO backs this with a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty – with a maximum degradation of 0.35% per year from the second year onwards.
Which Roofs Are Suitable for the AIKO Full Black Panel?
The AIKO-A485-MCE54Db is particularly well suited for homeowners who value a discreet, aesthetically refined appearance for their PV system. With its fully black design – black frame, black backsheet, black cells with no visible contacts – the panel blends seamlessly into dark roof surfaces. Thanks to its high mechanical load resistance and glass-glass construction, it is also well equipped for demanding locations exposed to strong winds, heavy snow or hail.
Features:
- 485 Wp rated power – high performance through the latest N-type ABC technology
- Glass-glass construction – more durable, robust and fire-resistant (IEC Fire Class A)
- Full Black design – completely black appearance with no visible contacts for a premium aesthetic
- Partial shading optimisation – minimises energy losses caused by shading of individual cells
- Improved temperature coefficient – reduced power loss at high temperatures
- High mechanical load resistance – certified up to 5,400 Pa (snow load) / 2,400 Pa (wind load)
- Hail test passed – tested with 35 mm hailstones at 23 m/s

Safety Instructions:
1. Installation by Professionals: Installation should only be carried out by qualified and authorized professionals.2. Use of Protective Equipment: When handling PV modules, wear appropriate protective equipment such as gloves and safety goggles.
3. Secure Work Area: Do not work in adverse weather conditions, particularly rain, snow, or strong winds.
4. Use Covering: Cover the modules during installation to minimize power generation.
5. Fastening and Load Capacity: Ensure that the substructure can safely support loads from wind, snow, and other environmental factors.
6. Contact Protection: Do not touch exposed electrical contacts or cable ends.
7. No Handling with Wet Hands: Never work with electrical connections or components if your hands are wet.
8. Use Appropriate Tools: Use insulated tools and measure the voltage of the modules before making connections.
9. Grounding: Ensure that the system is properly grounded to avoid electric shocks or overvoltage damage.
10. No System Modifications: Do not modify the system without consulting a professional or the manufacturer.
