The Fronius DC surge protection SPD Type 1+2 provides reliable protection for the DC side of photovoltaic systems against overvoltages caused by lightning strikes and switching operations. It is designed for Fronius inverters with power ratings from 10 to 27 kW and significantly increases system availability and operational safety.

By combining Type 1 and Type 2 protection, the DC SPD is suitable for PV systems with external lightning protection as well as for internal surge protection. Its tailored design allows easy integration into compatible Fronius systems and standards-compliant protection of DC cabling.
