HIS Pre-assembled Y-Splitter for Parallel Module Connection 6 mm² MC4-Evo 2 MMF
Pre-assembled HIS Y-solar cable with original MC4-Evo 2 connectors and couplings for safe parallel connection of solar modules. With a total length of 50 cm and perfectly compatible with our MC4-Evo 2 extension cables.
What is the purpose and application of Y-solar cables?
Y-solar cables – also known as U-splitters – enable the parallel connection of two solar module strings, ensuring a fast and clean installation without additional tools – virtually plug & play. Especially in balcony power plants, parallel module connection can help optimize the performance of the microinverter. Please ensure that the inverter used is suitable for parallel string connection before installation.
Features:
- Y-solar cable for PV modules with MC4-Evo 2 plug/socket
- Parallel string connection, also suitable for balcony power plants
- Conductor cross-section: 6 mm² for low losses
- Weather-resistant and UV-resistant
