High-performance single-phase hybrid inverter with optional backup power functionality

The Huawei SUN2000-LB0 is a hybrid inverter designed for modern single-phase PV systems. Equipped with two MPP trackers and a maximum efficiency of 97.8%, it delivers high energy yields while offering excellent system flexibility. Integrated AFCI arc fault detection with a range of up to 200 m significantly enhances operational safety. Stable and standardized communication with smart energy controllers and battery systems is ensured via the RS485 interface. The inverter is compatible with Huawei LUNA2000 battery storage systems, supports intelligent load management, and helps maximize self-consumption. In combination with the SmartGuard-63A-S0 switching device, backup power functionality can also be implemented. Thanks to natural convection cooling, a compact design weighing under 15 kg, and IP66 protection, the SUN2000-LB0 is efficient, robust, and weatherproof—ideal for PV systems with battery storage.


Differences compared to the previous SUN2000-L1 hybrid inverter
The new SUN2000-LB0 starts operating at a lower start-up voltage, allowing it to run with fewer PV modules and providing a wider MPP voltage range. Higher permissible module input currents enable the use of modern high-current modules and more powerful strings. In addition, battery charge and discharge power has been increased, allowing faster and more efficient use of the energy storage system.

Safety Instructions:

  1. Installation by qualified personnel: Installation must only be carried out by qualified electricians or other qualified personnel.

  11. Ensure the device is de-energized: Before any maintenance or repair, all power sources must be disconnected and verified to be de-energized.
  12. No modifications: Unauthorized alterations, modifications, or repairs, as well as opening the product, are prohibited.
  13. Protect from water and moisture: Install the inverter in an environment protected from rain, condensation, and high humidity.
  14. Avoid dust and contamination: Keep the inverter free from dust, insects, and other contaminants.
