Jinko Tiger Neo 465 Wp N-Type Glas-Glas Fullblack Solar Panel JKM465N-48QL6-DB

The Jinko Tiger Neo is a high-quality all black solar panel of the latest generation, based on modern N-Type TOPCon technology. This enables an exceptionally high output of 475 watts and ensures that the panel generates electricity reliably even in overcast conditions or during the early morning and late evening hours. A further advantage is its optimised behaviour in heat: solar panels generally lose some output at high temperatures – in the Tiger Neo, however, this effect is kept particularly low thanks to a well-engineered cell structure and specialised interconnection technology. The panel features a robust glass-glass construction. This means that instead of a plastic foil on the rear side, a second sheet of glass is used. This provides significantly better protection against moisture, UV radiation and mechanical stress – resulting in a considerably longer service life than conventional solar panels. The panel is also highly resistant to mechanical loads and withstands wind and snow pressure of up to 6,000 Pa on the front side and 4,000 Pa on the rear side – certified and tested. In addition, the Tiger Neo is particularly resistant to typical ageing effects such as PID (potential-induced degradation), LID and LeTID (light-induced degradation) and UV degradation. This means output remains stable over many years.

What do PID, LID and LeTID mean?

Solar panels can lose output over time due to specific physical effects – independently of normal wear and tear.

PID (Potential Induced Degradation): The high voltage in a solar system can cause tiny leakage currents to flow through the panel, damaging the cells. Moisture and heat further promote this effect.

LID (Light Induced Degradation): A one-time, minor drop in output that occurs right at the beginning, when the panel experiences its first hours of sunlight. With modern N-Type cells, this effect is barely measurable.

LeTID (Light and elevated Temperature Induced Degradation): Similar to LID, but triggered not only by light but also by elevated temperatures – and can build up over a longer period of time.

The Jinko Solar Tiger Neo panel is largely protected against all three effects thanks to its modern cell architecture and high-quality encapsulation.

Features:

  • 465 Wp rated output – high performance through state-of-the-art N-Type TOPCon technology
  • Glass-glass construction – more durable and robust than conventional solar panels
  • All Black design – completely black appearance for a sleek, discreet look on the roof
  • Excellent low-light performance – generates electricity in the morning, evening and during overcast conditions
  • Low temperature coefficient – retains its output even in summer heat
  • Resistant to ageing – protected against PID, LID, LeTID and UV degradation
  • High mechanical load capacity – certified up to 6,000 Pa (front) / 4,000 Pa (rear)
