Notice: With the latest software update, the DC current capacity of the PLENTICORE plus G2 increases from 13 A to 15 A. In addition, the charging and discharging performance for compatible battery systems increases by approximately 15%. These improvements make the PLENTICORE plus G2 ideally suited for modern next-generation solar modules and even better for new installations as well as repowering projects. The storage system, consisting of the BYD HVS 10.2, the Kostal PLENTICORE plus G2 10, and the Kostal Smart Energy Meter G2 (KSEM), is the ideal solution for plant operators who want to increase their self-consumption. The award-winning BYD HVS 10.2 high-voltage battery with a capacity of 10.24 kWh stands out for its modular design, which can be flexibly adapted to individual energy needs if required. Thanks to lithium iron phosphate technology, it also offers high safety and long service life. Together with the Kostal PLENTICORE plus G2 10, the system includes a powerful hybrid inverter with 3 MPP trackers for configuring nearly all roof types, an extended MPP range, and self-learning shading management. The activation code for unlocking the optional battery input is, of course, included with the storage system. The Kostal Smart Energy Meter G2 acts as the intelligence of the system, monitoring and optimizing the energy flow in the household. Through the already integrated data logger, it continuously sends yield data to the KOSTAL Solar Portal, where the data is optimally visualized. The second-generation PLENTICORE plus also features three additional switching outputs for load control.

  13. Danger from residual charge: Be aware that batteries can retain dangerous residual charges even after being switched off.
  14. No modifications: Unauthorized alterations, modifications, repairs, and opening of the product are prohibited.
