Luxor Eco Line Prime 485 Wp TOPCon Back Contact Double Glass Bifacial Solar Panel LD16986

Luxor Eco Line Prime 485 Wp TOPCon Back Contact Double Glass Bifacial Solar Panel LD16986

The Luxor Eco Line Prime is a high-quality bifacial double glass solar panel of the latest generation, based on the unique combination of N-Type TOPCon and Back Contact technology (BC) – with 485 watts peak output, a module efficiency of up to 24.08 % and a bifaciality factor of up to 80 % for measurably higher overall energy yields. Thanks to an optimised temperature coefficient of just −0.27 %/°C, the panel reliably maintains its output even in summer.

The panel is built with a robust glass-glass construction. This means: instead of a plastic film on the back, a second pane of glass is used. This protects the panel significantly better against moisture, UV radiation and mechanical stress – resulting in a considerably longer service life than conventional panels.

The Eco Line Prime is Luxor Solar's absolute flagship model – awarded the EUPD Top Brand PV Germany 2025. As a German warrantor, Luxor Solar backs the warranty directly under German law – with a 30-year product warranty, a 30-year linear performance warranty and a guaranteed output of at least 89 % after 30 years. The panel is also exceptionally resistant to mechanical stress, withstanding snow loads of up to 6,000 Pa and wind loads of up to 4,000 Pa, and is certified to Hail Class 4 – tested up to 45 mm hailstone diameter at 110.5 km/h.

What is TOPCon Back Contact Technology?

TOPCon BC combines two of the most powerful solar cell technologies in a single cell. TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) minimises recombination losses within the cell through an ultra-thin tunnel oxide layer, significantly boosting efficiency compared to conventional PERC cells. Back Contact (BC) relocates all electrical contacts fully to the rear side of the cell – leaving the entire front surface available for uninterrupted light absorption.

The combination of both technologies results in a cell that simultaneously offers maximum passivation efficiency and maximum light yield. The result: highest efficiencies, improved hotspot behaviour, best performance under partial shading – all as an inherently PID-free and LID-free N-Type module.

What is Bifaciality?

A bifacial solar panel generates electricity not only on the front side but also on the rear side – by capturing reflected light from the surrounding surface and converting it into additional energy. The stated rated output of 485 Wp refers exclusively to the front side under standard test conditions (STC) – the rear side delivers additional yield on top, depending on the installation situation. The bifaciality factor of up to 80 % indicates how efficiently the rear side performs relative to the front side – exact yield values under BNPI conditions can be found in the datasheet.

Features:
