my-PV Immersion Heater 9 kW with Thermostat – Heating Element for AC•THOR 9s
High-output PV heating element for direct connection to the my-PV AC•THOR 9s
The my-PV immersion heater 9 kW is the high-output variant of the my-PV immersion heater range and was developed specifically for use with the AC•THOR 9s. It is screwed directly into fresh water or buffer tanks via the standard G 1½ inch thread and connected directly to the AC•THOR 9s via screw terminals – no connection cable is included. The special design with low thermal surface loading of the heating elements increases product service life and minimises scaling.
Application examples – number per device
One 9 kW immersion heater can be connected directly to the AC•THOR 9s and controlled steplessly from 0–9,000 W – ideal for supplying large tanks with high heat demand. Alternatively, up to three 3 kW immersion heaters can also be used with the AC•THOR 9s.
Thermostat and temperature backup
The immersion heater features a manually adjustable bimetal thermostat with a target temperature range of approx. 34–78°C and an integrated safety temperature limiter (approx. 98°C). Stepless control of heating output from 0–9,000 W is handled by the AC•THOR 9s. For applications requiring higher target temperatures (e.g. buffer tanks above 90°C), the variant without thermostat with safety temperature limiter only is also available.

Founded in 2011, the Austrian company my-PV develops innovative and functional solutions for solar-powered building technology. Driven by the deep conviction that everyone has a right to clean energy, the manufacturer demonstrates that ecology, low costs, and resource conservation are not mutually exclusive when it comes to self-consumption. At its headquarters in Neuzeug, the internationally active company built Austria's first solar-electric company building, which combines production, warehousing, R&D, and training areas across approximately 2,600 m². With this focus on expansion and progress, my-PV gets the absolute maximum out of photovoltaic systems – for both people and the environment.

Safety Instructions:
1. Installation by Professionals: The installation should only be carried out by qualified and authorized professionals.2. Wear Protective Equipment: When handling PV modules, use appropriate protective equipment such as gloves and safety glasses.
3. Components must operate within the technical specifications listed in their data sheets.
4. Use only manufacturer-approved accessories.
5. Do not install components if they are physically damaged or equipped with damaged or substandard cables or connectors.
6. No Work Under Voltage: Perform installation or maintenance work only when the system is de-energized.
7. Do not apply an external voltage source to a module or a string with components.
8. Protection from External Influences: Install protective conduits and cables in a way that shields them from UV radiation, rodents, and mechanical damage.
9. Protection from Moisture and Dirt: Store and install accessories in dry and clean locations to prevent damage from moisture or contamination.
10. Regular Inspection: Inspections and maintenance should be carried out regularly to detect potential damage or signs of aging at an early stage.
