Universal measurement acquisition – solution for single- and three-phase installations

With the SMA Commercial Energy Meter as a single- and three-phase solution and measurement via current transformers, a metering device is available for a wide range of customer requirements in the commercial sector. The device can be used to measure PV generation as well as serve as a bidirectional grid meter. It integrates seamlessly into the SMA Commercial Solution, an optimally coordinated configuration that ensures maximum performance and stability. The recorded measurement values support the energy management system and thus contribute to increased self-consumption and reduced energy costs. The SMA Commercial Energy Meter records electrical measurement values and transmits them via Ethernet within the local network. All data relating to grid feed-in and grid consumption or PV generation from other PV inverters can be transmitted to SMA systems with high precision and frequency.

What are typical applications?
Typical applications include control at the grid connection point to comply with grid requirements, as well as precise bidirectional energy monitoring for grid import and export. In addition, the system enables the integration of external consumers into the monitoring system in order to transparently visualize energy flows and load profiles. The connection of third-party inverters is also possible, allowing energy and power to be monitored and analyzed across the entire system.

10. Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the manufacturer's specified maximum current load for the smart meter.
11. No Unauthorized Modifications: Unauthorized alterations, modifications, repairs, or opening of the product are strictly prohibited.
