SMA Data Manager M EDMM-20
The SMA Data Manager M is the central component for decentralized, commercial solar systems. In combination with the Sunny Portal (ennexOS-based), it enables monitoring, control, and grid-compliant power regulation at the grid connection point. It supports up to 50 devices and offers flexible inputs and outputs for digital as well as analog signals to meet a wide range of requirements. With a control capacity of 2.5 MVA and up to 7.5 MVA in control and monitoring operation, it is the ideal interface for energy providers, direct marketers, service technicians, and system operators. Thanks to user-friendly interfaces and intuitive assistant functions, operation, configuration, and commissioning are greatly simplified.
Control is handled through the Sunny Portal powered by ennexOS, allowing for remote management of solar systems. Multiple inverters can be controlled with a single click, parameters adjusted, and performance monitored in real-time, saving time and costs. Central management for decentralized large-scale systems is possible thanks to satellite-supported data and cluster solutions with multiple Data Managers. Connectivity options include 2 x Ethernet switched, 1 x Ethernet, 2 x RS-485, and Wi-Fi (for direct connection). With the extended memory (e.g., for logging setpoint values) and remote updates, the system can flexibly adapt to changing requirements.
