With the new SMA EV Charger Business, commercial charging infrastructure for individual charging stations or charging parks can be integrated many charging points quickly and easily. Each charger offers two charging points including charging cable and type 2 plug or charging sockets for uncomplicated charging of electric vehicles. As part of the SMA Energy System Business, the SMA EV Charger Business a fully integrated electromobility solution also for charging with solar power and at any time around the SMA Commercial storage expandable. Thanks to the RFID and OCPP interface, the charger can be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of charging Integrate backends and billing systems. Thanks to the flexible concept, the SMA EV Charger Business can be used both Install as a wall mount as well as a free-standing charging station

1. Installation by Qualified Personnel: The installation of EV charging stations must only be carried out by qualified electricians or authorized professionals.
2. Ensure Power Disconnection: Before installation, the circuit must be switched off and checked for power disconnection.
3. Grounding and Surge Protection: Ensure that the system is properly grounded and that suitable surge protection is installed.
4. Observe Cable Cross-Section: Use the cables recommended by the manufacturer and consider the required cable cross-sections for maximum charging power.
5. Hazard from High Voltages: Wall boxes operate with high electrical voltages. Avoid contact with open connections or exposed cables.
6. Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCD): The wall box must be connected to a suitable residual current circuit breaker (RCD) to ensure protection against residual currents.
7. Ensure Water Tightness: Use appropriate protective caps and seals to prevent water ingress into electrical connections.
8. Follow Instructions: Follow the manufacturer's operating instructions for the wall box.
9. Charge Only Compatible Vehicles: Use the wall box only with vehicles compatible with the charging power and connector type.
10. Use Charging Cable Safely: Ensure that the charging cable is not damaged and is not bent or pinched during the charging process.
11. Handling Moisture: Do not charge vehicles during heavy rain or when the wall box is visibly wet (unless the wall box is explicitly approved for operation in wet conditions).
12. Keep Children Away: Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the wall box to avoid accidental damage or hazards.
13. Use Original Accessories: Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer, such as charging cables or adapters.
