The SMA I / O Module is a module with 6 digital inputs and 1 digital output as a multifunction relay. The SMA I / O Module enables the implementation of network system services for up to 12 SMA inverters of a network with the same system password. The SMA I / O module must be installed in 1 SMA inverter. For the implementation of the network system services, the SMA I / O Module receives specifications from the network operator via a ripple control receiver. The SMA I / O module passes on the network operator's specifications via the Speedwire network to a maximum of 11 further SMA inverters.

9. No Modifications: Do not alter or modify the smart meter or its wiring.
10. Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the manufacturer's specified maximum current load for the smart meter.
11. No Unauthorized Modifications: Unauthorized alterations, modifications, repairs, or opening of the product are strictly prohibited.
