The SMA Sunny Boy Storage 2.5 battery inverter is compatible with many high-voltage batteries from well-known manufacturers, such as the LG Energy Solution or BYD. With a charging and discharging capacity of 2.5 kW, it is ideally suited to the power requirements of private homes. The battery inverter combines the flexibility of AC coupling with the advantages of high-voltage technology and thus enables a significant reduction in system and installation costs. Thanks to the integrated web server and direct portal access, commissioning is simple.
With the SBS 2.5, the control of energy flows in the household becomes as transparent as possible and is easy to organize. No matter how electricity is to be produced and consumed - whether with an existing or new solar power system, wind energy, combined heat and power plant - the Sunny Boy Storage does it all. Secure supply in the event of grid failures is also possible. Today and in the future, because systems with Sunny Boy Storage SBS 2.5 can be flexibly expanded at any time on both the generator and battery side.

Safety Instructions:

- Install surge protection: Protect the inverter and system from surges by installing surge protection devices and appropriate fuses.
- Ensure the device is de-energized: Before any maintenance or repair, all power sources must be disconnected and verified to be de-energized.
- No modifications: Unauthorized alterations, modifications, or repairs, as well as opening the product, are prohibited.
- Protect from water and moisture: Install the inverter in an environment protected from rain, condensation, and high humidity.
- Avoid dust and contamination: Keep the inverter free from dust, insects, and other contaminants.
