SMA Accessories – Energy Management, Backup & DC Protection
This category covers SMA accessories for energy management, system communication, backup power, and system protection. The Sunny Home Manager 2.0 is the control centre for intelligent energy management in the home: it coordinates loads, optimises self-consumption, and enables the use of dynamic electricity tariffs. For larger and commercial systems, the SMA Data Manager M handles monitoring, control, and grid-compliant power regulation for up to 50 devices. The SMA Power Limiter serves as a multifunctional interface for grid system services. With SMA backup components, a full backup power supply for the entire household can be realised in combination with a compatible hybrid inverter. DC surge protection (type 1+2 and type 2) as optional accessory for SMA inverters rounds off the range and reliably protects the PV system against overvoltage events.
