SMA Sunny Island & Sunny Island X – Battery Inverter
The SMA Sunny Island is SMA's proven battery inverter — flexible enough for self-consumption, backup power, and off-grid applications. The 4.4M, 6.0H, and 8.0H models cover different power classes and can be scaled up to larger systems as needed. The range is complemented by the SMA Sunny Boy Storage 3.7 — a single-phase AC-coupled battery inverter, ideal for retrofitting existing PV systems. The new SMA Sunny Island X (30 and 50 kW) is the next generation: three-phase, with integrated energy management, equally suited for grid-connected and off-grid systems.
