Stäubli MC4-Evo stor 4-6 mm² Socket PV-KBT4-EVO ST/6II and Plug PV-KST4-EVO ST/6II
Application-safe connector for energy storage with proven MC4-Evo 2 technology
The MC4-Evo stor connector has been specially developed for connecting hybrid inverters with BESS systems (Battery Energy Storage Systems). The 45° rotated contact surface reliably prevents misconnection between the BESS connection and the PV string. This effectively eliminates PV DC string input errors. Technically, the MC4-Evo stor is based on the proven performance of the MC4-Evo 2 and is TÜV- and UL-certified for DC voltages up to 1,500 V.
The MC4-Evo stor is used for the safe connection of hybrid inverters with battery energy storage systems (BESS). The MC4-Evo stor mounting boxes are integrated into both the inverter and the BESS. This design ensures that misconnection on the DC side of the inverter is impossible, providing high operational safety and a simple, error-free installation.
