Furthermore, under normal conditions, only the shaded modules need to be equipped with a Tigo optimizer. This does not apply if two strings are connected in parallel to one MPPT input of the inverter. In this case, all modules must be equipped with a Tigo optimizer.
The use of the Tigo Cloud Connect Kit is not mandatory; however, it is strongly recommended due to the learning capabilities of the Tigo optimizers via the Cloud Connect module.
