Trina Solar Vertex S+ 455 Wp N-Type Double Glass Full Black Solar Panel TSM-455NEG9R.25
The Trina Solar Vertex S+ is a high-quality double glass solar panel of the latest generation, based on the modern N-Type i-TOPCon technology. This enables an exceptionally high output of 455 watts and ensures that the panel reliably generates electricity even on cloudy days or during morning and evening hours. A further advantage is its optimised behaviour in heat: solar panels generally lose some output at high temperatures – in the Vertex S+, however, this effect is kept to a minimum thanks to a sophisticated monocrystalline cell structure and High-Density cell interconnection technology – where cells are connected particularly closely and efficiently to achieve more output on the same surface area.
The panel is built with a robust glass-glass construction. This means: instead of a plastic film on the back, a second pane of glass is used. This protects the panel significantly better against moisture, UV radiation and mechanical stress – resulting in a considerably longer service life than conventional panels. The Vertex S+ also impresses with outstanding low-light performance – generating reliable electricity even on overcast days, in the morning and in the evening.
The panel is also highly resistant to mechanical stress, withstanding snow loads of up to 5,400 Pa and wind loads of up to 4,000 Pa – certified and tested. With a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year performance warranty, combined with a maximum degradation of 1 % in the first year and only 0.4 % annually in subsequent years, output remains exceptionally stable throughout the entire service life.
What is i-TOPCon Technology?
TOPCon stands for Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact – a next-generation solar cell technology. An ultra-thin tunnel oxide layer minimises recombination losses within the cell, significantly boosting efficiency compared to older technologies such as PERC. The „i" in Trina's i-TOPCon stands for an industrially optimised advancement: higher cell efficiency, better low-light performance and lower temperature losses. Combined with an N-Type silicon wafer as the base, the result is an inherently more stable and longer-lasting cell – with less degradation over the entire service life.
Features:
- 455 Wp output & 22.8 % efficiency – latest N-Type i-TOPCon technology in a compact format
- Double glass construction – more durable and robust than conventional panels
- All Black / Full Black design – fully black aesthetic for an unobtrusive appearance on the roof
- Excellent low-light performance – generates electricity reliably in the morning, evening and on cloudy days
- 25-year product warranty & 30-year performance warranty – max. 0.4 % annual degradation thanks to N-Type cell technology
