SMA Sunny Boy – Single-Phase PV & Hybrid Inverters
This category covers SMA's single-phase inverter range: the classic Sunny Boy (3–6 kW) as a pure PV inverter, and the Sunny Boy Smart Energy (3.6–6 kW) as a hybrid inverter with integrated battery connection. Both models feature SMA ShadeFix for optimised yields even under partial shading, and SMA ArcFix for arc fault protection. The Sunny Boy Smart Energy additionally offers three MPP trackers for complex roof layouts, a 10-year warranty, and an optional backup power solution for selected loads or the entire house.
